The ShapeShift Paddle Holster also includes a trigger guard shell, in case you wish to purchase additional ShapeShift expansion packs. The paddle attachment features a retention lip for a more secure carry. To install it, the retention lip will need to be manipulated prior to seating inside the waistband or sliding over the belt itself. The paddle is contoured for a more comfortable carry. The paddle attachment can be removed, if desired, and a belt slide attachment installed instead. If you prefer a more traditional OWB holster, this belt attachment can be installed in lieu of the paddle attachment. The retention profile is also customizable. The holster comes with adjustable passive retention and a thumb release for an active retention device. Either retention device can be removed, should you desire to alter the retention profile to your desires. Carry with passive only, or with both for a full Level II retention holster.
