Insider Review - JW Marriott Phu Quoc I Detailed Resort Walkthrough and Suite Tour

Join us on a tour around this whimsical themed resort designed by our favorite designer, Bill Bensley at the JW Marriott in Phu Quoc. The 243 well appointed rooms and 8 individually themed villas within the hotel are built facing the private beach of Bai Tam Khem, boasting picturesque landscape of soft white sand and tranquil waters of emerald bay. Our short 2 nights stay here completely blew our minds, as this is definitely one of our favorite beach destination hotels in the world. As Marriott Bonvoy Titanium elites, we enjoyed a generous complimentary suite upgrade to one of the property's signature Turquoise suite in the Architecture Building, had sumptuous daily complimentary breakfast at the Tempus Fugus Restaurant, and even attended an elite member only cocktail event with free flow of champagne and hot hors d'oeuvres at the garden by the Pink Pearl. The highlight of our stay was definitely the spacious and eclectic designed suite. Bernard definitely love his high windows bath, and me the mesmerizing sunrise of emerald bay from our private balcony. ** 00:00 - Intro, Resort Walkthrough - JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay, Vietnam 01:45 - Suite Upgraded as Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite 02:40 - Suite Tour - Room 7302, Turquoise Suite, Architecture Building 02:55 - We paid our stay using 2 Marriott Bonvoy Free Night Certificate worth 35,000 points/night 03:05 - Mini Bar and Pantry in the Wardrobe Closet 04:00 - Living Room, and Bill's Bensley Suite Design 04:35 - Fresh Flowers, Fruit Tray, Hand Written Notes from GM, Plastic Free Straw in a Gift set, Bottled Blossom Honey from the Resort's Apiary, Alcoholic Drink Coupons, Invitation to Elite only Guest Reception Party, 2pcs complimentary shirt pressing, and 20% Bonvoy Elite Discount all as our welcome amenities when we checked in. 04:40 - Separated Bedroom Tour 05:09 - Separated Ensuite Bathroom and Walk in Closet 07:03 - Private Balcony with Lounge Bed overlooking Beach and Emerald Bay 07:29 - Overview of the different Room Types at the JW Marriott Phu Quoc 08:29 - Walking Tour of Resort through the "Campus Themed" 09:08 - Department of Chemistry, the Hotel's Bar 09:25 - Various Themed Meeting Rooms and Convention Spaces, Department of Carpentry, Artistry and the Grand Hall (Ball Room) 10:03 - The Pink Pearl Restaurant 10:25 - Department of Physical Education, Varsity Gym (The Hotel's 24 hour key card access Gym) 11:12 - Activities and Entertainments available at the JW Marriott Phu Quoc 12:01 - In Room Dining - We ordered Pho at the comfort of our Suite 13:10 - Our Complimentary Buffet Breakfast at the Tempus Fugus Restaurant 14:35 - Compilations of our exploration and experience at The JW Marriott Phu Quoc 15:28 - Conclusion #jwphuquoc #vietnamhotel #marriottresort ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Feeling Social? Just ask away! -------------------------------------------------------------------------- We started our trip back in April 2, 2019 from New York City. We quit our 9-6 jobs, sold all of our belongings, and began traveling full time. We left our jobs because we were unable to be with family and enjoy life. Work was taking up too much time and something had to change. We saved up for 2 years and began traveling as soon as we found a deal that would take us around the world for just $285.00. We started this #travelvlog to share our adventures with friends and family. At the one year mark, we realized that we had only scratched the surface and there was still so much to see. We are so fortunate to be doing this every day. We hope you enjoy our content and will subscribe to our adventures.
