Today we further inspect the V8-powered LS1 Holden Adventra all-wheel drive we acquired and put a plan together with what we need to get it off-road ready. With Cape York in sight for mid-year in 2023, we have every intention to get PIG Adventra down gunshot and Wal is very keen to get this project started. We've tested the V6 extensively and want to know how much the V8 offers despite it having a different (slower) brake lock system and using the older 4L60E transmission - if the transmission dies there could be plans for a 6L80E to be dropped in, there have been some successful projects but that's a long drawn thought for later (or never).
