I ran Hyde Parkrun in 21:24 and finished 8th. I am kind of hesitant to publish this event. Hyde Park was marvellous park but it felt a little neglected because I kept seeing rubbish lying around. I did a little litter pick before the event. Most of the volunteers were nice. The fellow runners and trail walkers were very nice and welcoming. It is a really good run though. It was 3 laps of Hyde Park. It was also quite hard with plenty of inclines and uphill parts. It was nice to see some people who recognise my voice, so "hello" to them. I am also sorry but I had to mute part of the video. A "volunteer" started heckling me during the run... she also scowled at me at the end of the run too while walking back to the car. I hope the volunteer team have a stern talk with her and change her position for next time. I have the utmost respect for volunteers because we literally can not conduct events without them but, respect kind of works both ways too... I do not know if I will be back after that incident, which is a shame... let's stay positive.
