Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic disease of small joints of hands and feet which cause synovitis and deformities and is a very painful condition. This disease is classically characterized by periods of remissions where the patient is absolutely pain free and comfortable with deformity of hands and feet he has. Periods of exuberation, where the disease gets progressed leading to inflammation of the joints, swelling, low fever, severe pain which again leads to further deformities of the joints. Typical features of Rheumatoid arthritis are involvement and deformities of small joints of hands and toes, large joints are very rarely involved, when they are involved disease is of severe category. Patient normally has morning stiffness. Few patients have some modules in their hands then they have loss of appetite, their bones are weak, they break at minimum injury and are painful.
