game devs, i beg you... pls let me date olric (p.s. recipes below) ✨ tiktok:   / mich_mengo   ✨ instagram:   / mich_mengo   ✨ email: [email protected] 📖 here are the recipes 📖 🍲 VEGETABLE SOUP: 2 tbsp olive oil 1 onion, diced 1 cup diced potatoes 1 diced carrot 4 cloves garlic, chopped 14.5 oz can of fire roasted tomatoes 2 thyme sprigs, 1 rosemary sprig, 2 bay leaves, 1 bunch basil 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar red pepper flakes 1 cup halved cherry tomatoes 1 cup chopped green beans 1 diced zucchini 1 cup corn 4 cups veggie stock salt & pepper 1. Heat the oil in large stock pot. Add in the onion, salt, and pepper and cook for 5 mins. 2. Add in the garlic, carrots and potato, cooking for another 2 mins. 3. Stir in the red pepper flakes, canned tomato, herbs, and vinegar, cook for 3 mins. 4. Add in the broth. Bring everything to a boil, simmer for 20 mins covered. 5. Stir in the cherry tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, and corn. Simmer for a final 10-15 more mins. 6. Season to taste! 🍞 MILK BREAD: 2 tbsp + 2 1/3 cup bread flour 1 tsp yeast 1/4 cup sugar 1 egg 1/3 cup + 1/2 cup milk, warm 1/2 stick butter, softened 1. Whisk together the 2 tbsp of flour and 1/3 cup of milk in a small saucepan. Over low heat, whisk constantly until it thickens into a paste. Cool completely! 2. Combine the flour, yeast, and sugar into a large mixing bowl. 3. Add in the egg and flour paste, then slowly incorporate the milk and knead until a rough dough forms. 4. Incorporate the butter in a tbsp at a time, kneading until the dough is no longer sticky or oily. 5. Continue kneading for another 10-15 minutes, until it passes the windowpane test! 6. Let this proof for 1.5-2 hours or until the dough rises to double its size. 7. Deflate the dough and divide it into 3 portions. Roll each into a ball, then roll into a flat long oval (8x5 in). Roll it up lengthwise into a tight log and repeat. Place all 3 logs together seam-side down into a greased loaf pan. 8. Let the loaf rise for a final 30-60 mins until it’s about 1/2 an inch under the lip of the pan. 9. Optionally brush the top with an egg wash. Bake at 350 for 30 mins and cool for an hour before enjoying : ) 🫐 WILDBERRY JAM: 1 cup frozen wild blueberries 1 cup strawberries, diced 3/4 cup sugar 1 tbsp pectin lemon juice 1. Cook the berries in a saucepan over low heat until they soften. 2. Stir in the sugar, pectin, and lemon juice. Boil this over high heat for 3 minute and then lower the heat and simmer for around 5 mins or until the mixture thickens. 3. Pour into you jar and cool before enjoying! 🍬 CARAMEL CANDY: 1 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 cup sugar 1/2 cup brown sugar 1/3 cup corn syrup 1 tsp salt vanilla 2 tbsp butter flakey sea salt 1. Prepare your baking dish by lining with parchment paper and grease all sides. 2. In a large saucepan, add in and combine the cream, sugar, brown sugar, corn syrup. 3. Over medium heat, cook this mixture while constantly stirring, until it reaches 245F degrees. This can take anywhere from 30 mins to up to an hour. 4. Immediately remove the caramel from the heat and stir in the salt, vanilla, and butter. 5. Pour the caramel into the prepared tray and optionally sprinkle over some sea salt.
