It is, in the abstract, a BBD chorus/vibrato but it's beloved by players (notably a LOT of synth player) for things that exist in this pedal that are tangential to the standard fare of modulation that you would expect. The LPG is a magical filter and trigger that functions as one of the most inspiring attack modulators I've ever played. The Damp control lurches the pitch modulation around in ways that somehow both feel so subtle and like such a statement at once. Even the JFET circuit in this thing makes it just a damn fine boost or drive. There is a lot to love here and almost none of it can be properly articulated through text. So throw in some headphones and lets wade into the Shallow Water.
