Using Acrylic Paint as WATERCOLOR / Building up Layers - Abstract Acrylic Painting

I'm using soft & hard body acrylics and mixing them with lots of water. On this raw canvas it dries and adheres as watercolor. I named this artwork: "One Small Step". This title has a special meaning for me and my art journey. Each of my works within this series are made out of multiple layers, one small step at a time. And as I reflect on my entire art journey, I realize that it too has been built out of countless small steps. In this specific painting, the last layer (the last small step ;-)) of textured gold lines completely transformed it from feeling average to being absolutely stunning. It even inspired me to add more layers to my artwork from last week, which I thought was complete. But it is now, haha! Also! I'm launching two new prints from my last Evolve series this week.
