What began as a humble initiative out of her home then has today bloomed into an inspiring ‘farm to table’ movement, the Shree Vasavi Condiments Avarebele Mela that has spread awareness on this humble bean and also provided much needed livelihood to many farmers in Karnataka. Now in its 24th year, this festival is being staged in a large venue at the National College grounds, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru from 5th to 9th January.
