The theme of it is something that started out as a positive, good idea, but went really wrong somewhere along the way, became a dangerous obsession and ended very badly. I'm very excited to have Ryan Van Poederooyen program the drums on this one too. I'm a huge fan of his work for Imonolith and the Devin Townsend Band, and hearing his interpretation for something I made is just something else. The video was professionally filmed by MenahemD. He is an awesome creative mind and his vision and ideas were able to make the video aspect of this track better than I could have thought. *** This is a remake of a demo I originally released in 2014, if you are curious to hear how that one sounded you can find it here:    • Valentin The Mad - Deadly Obsession (...   *** Instagram   / valentinthemad   You can listen to the rest of the tracks from my solo project on this playlist:    • Deadly Obsession (Solo Project)   *** Equipment used in this track: Gibson Flying V guitar Traben Neo bass Apollo Twin Duo Amplitube 4: Mesa Boogie expansion - rhythm and lead guitars Amplitube SVX expansion - bass EZDrummer 2 Metalheads expansion - drum sounds EZMix 2 was used on the master bus Filming gear: Sony a7ii Canon G15 Canon L 17-40mm f/4 Canon STM 50mm f/1.8 Canon L 80-200mm f/2.8 Industar/FED 50mm f/3.5
