Dialing in Your Grinder for Espresso: i.e. Eureka Mignon Specialita

Ever wondered how to dial in your grinder to get great, cafe quality espresso drinks? In this video, I use a Eureka Mignon Specialita to exemplify how to find the reference point (0 point), and how to adjust coarser from there to attain the desired espresso extraction, which is normally a 1:2 brew ratio. This can be especially helpful when dialing in the grinder for the first time, or coming back to espresso from pour over or french press. Additionally, I show how I use a timed scale to determine how much espresso yield I am getting, in how much time, which is the salient portion of any espresso recipe. This process by the way can be followed for all flat burr grinders, not just the Specialita.
