Here's my live ambient set from last night's Church of Sound, a monthly night of electronic music at JT Soar in Nottingham. A live modular ambient set combined with some of my recent work in Max 8 using Jitter and Gen. The visuals were captured via a webcam mounted on the modular and manipulated live in real time alongside the music. All controlled by MIDI with a Traktor F1 controller. The musical sequencing here is all handled by a combination of Xaoc Devices Drezno II and Erfurt from the Leibniz Subsystem, essentially allowing 8-bit data pipelines control the pitch of several voices. Some sequencing done by Mutable Instruments Marbles. The patch is rather substantial so I will skip the details here, however the biggest contributors in terms of voices are Rings, Mindphaser, Spectraphon, Arbhar, Braids and Plaits.
