The wave returns to the ocean, where it came from, and where it's supposed to be.❞ — The Good Place - This is one of the few collabs I've been working on and let me just say, I think it's the best thing I've ever been a part of. Zoé (yes, Zoé & Zoé, we'll be here all week) is an absolute editing mastermind with a talent like no other and I knew for ages that I wanted to collab with her. With quarantine, I actually had enough free time to pop out some collab parts and it's the most beautiful, serene, accidental thing ever. Legit the only "intentional" thing we did was pick the song. The rest just kind of...happened. We would get ahead of ourselves and edit future parts, only to realize the other person ended the part with the perfect scene for that draft. Even the ending quotes, which are absolutely perfect together, were us just being like, "Hey, I got this quote and I'm gonna add it to my parts at the end." How they morphed together was totally unintential, and we realized while putting everything together that we are geniuses. (Cue Rue Bennet scene.) Our minds somehow synced and created this masterpiece. Maybe it's the name twin thing. Who knows. I am so grateful to finally have worked with Zoé and I can't wait until the next time!
