The bus travels across the Johor-Singapore Causeway, making it a convenient option for passengers travelling between Johor Bahru and central Singapore. The journey typically takes about 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions and the time taken for immigration clearance at both the Malaysian and Singaporean checkpoints. Causeway Link CW2 buses operate 24 hours between JB Bangunan Sultan Iskandar Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS) Complex and Queen Street Bus Terminal in Singapore, and between 6am to 10pm between Larkin Sentral and Queen Street Bus Terminal in Singapore. Departures are every 10-20 minutes throughout the day, except for the midnight hours of 11pm to 5am when buses depart every 45 minutes on the BSI-Queen Street sector only. There are no buses to and from Larkin Sentral during the midnight hours from 10pm to 6am. Tickets can be purchased directly on board the bus and prices are generally affordable, making it a popular choice for commuters. This bus service is particularly useful for those looking to travel directly between Johor Bahru and the central parts of Singapore with a through ticket.
