It comes with a baffle/silencer preinstalled. I did NOT remove the silencer, and I doubt I will. This slip on gives the added volume I was looking for, but in no way is it "too loud" as to wake up the neighborhood when I'm pulling into my garage. My intention was to add an exhaust that looked good, sounded good, and gave me added protection for cars hearing me while on the road. The Coffman’s exhaust checks all of those boxes! I completely recommend this slip on to anyone looking for an exhaust upgrade to their KTM Duke 390.
