How to change spark plugs on a 2011-2014 Kawasaki Zx10r

2014 Zx10r spark plug change, done by yours truly. Step by Step Process 1. Remove Rear seat and rear fairing (Use your key to take off rear seat first) then use a (3mm Allen key) 2. Remove front seat (5mm Allen key) 3. Disconnect your battery (Screwdriver) 4. Take off tank bracket ( 5mm Allen key) 5. Take off side fairings (4mm Allen key) 6. Take off the side bolts holding the tank in (5/16 socket) (usually a 8mm socket) 7. At this point the tank will be able to pull up. There are two vent lines that are clamped in. Squeeze the end of the clamps together to loosen it. If you have trouble use a needle nose pliers. Be super careful though 8. Disconnect fuel pump line that runs under the tank. (You'll be able to see it once its lifted up) Dont pull to hard, you don't want to damage it. 9. Disconnect the main fuel line (shown with the red clamp in the video) and stand clear. Most of the time fuel will leak out, so just be ready. After this the tank will come right off. Place is safely and not on its side or in any position to potentially throw off the sensors. Airbox Removal 1. Unfasten the upper injectors on top (as shown in the video) 2. Loosen the 10mm bolts on the steering damper (doing this will free up some space) 3. Grab your 5mm Allen key and loosen the bolt that's holding the airbox in at the front. Its right up under the steering damper (as shown in the video) 4. Take off the tank bracket on the side (10mm) this makes it so much easier to access the 4mm bolts you'll have to get to. 5.Take off the fuel line on the front of the airbox. (They supply your upper injectors so just know some fuel will come out) (NOTE : you don't have to remove fuel line on the bottom portion, but you can. It will make the process easier. In the video I didn't) 6. Remove the crankcase breather (Thick black tube) 7. Remove drain tube (white tube, next to thick black tube) 8 Remove the vent tube. 9. Remove both hose clamp bolts 4mm (BALL Allen key) 10. Remove your relays from the relay box in order for it to completely come up. This is the way I conducted my spark plug change. Just know there are different orders you can go in, and some people have their own preference. For anybody wondering, I had to get my spark plugs from auto zone because no motorcycle shop carried them on hand. Of course they are NGK, spark plugs. Be sure to look up your specific spec for your bike and remember where everything goes.
