NSRA bench rest build part1 Here's how I built my new custom front bench rest from odds and ends and using just basic tools. I'm sure it will end up evolving in the future but it works really well and is super stable. This is a front rest and the Anschutz 9015 is shot from the shoulder with gloved rear hand. i will likely make another to suit the air arms xti50.. both rifles can have their own custom rests. over the winter i will be joining some benchrest competitions and this was the last piece i needed to have a competitive setup. the smart reloader version which is incredibly popular is too high to suit my stance and rear hand position so i built my own.... I'm currently running the Anschutz 9015 with a vector optics sentinel x scope and should now be ready for competition...
