From a book called Chez Panisse Desserts by Lindsey Remolif Shere - a chef from a famous San Francisco restaurant. The recipes in this book are incredible. I love recipes that include chocolate but also aren’t too difficult and this one was perfect. Butter, sugar, eggs, flour (i use plain and corn flour instead of cake flour) a bit of almond meal and chocolate. Whittakers has great flavour and always works so well. I found the cake to be a bit raw inside so either i didnt cook it long enough or the oven wasnt hot enough. The recipe called for a 6 inch wobble after 30-40mins which i felt my cake had but it needed like 10-15 mins more baking time. Still, this turned out divine and would definitely make again. Served simply with pure cream! #chocolatecake #baking
