Customizing and Painting the Penny Board

Hey everybody, Thanks for tuning in. Leave any questions below and I will try my best to answer your questions. Keep in mind, I am no professional. This is just how I painted my board. There are probably a million ways to do this. Here are some tips: 1.This is optional. Labeling your trucks can help you later when you reassemble your board back... Saves time. Time is worth too much to be wasted. 2.While removing your trucks, find something to hold your screws. This way you won’t lose them or misplace them. 3.Clean the board soap and water or antibacterial wipes, which is what I used in the video. 4.For both the Primer and the Paint, do light thin coats instead of thick coats. If you spray too much, the paint will be all drippy and when it dries, you’ll end up having an uneven layer of paint. 5.The Primer, as said in the video, is suppose to help the paint adhere to the surface of the board better. I don’t know if it actually worked or not because 24 hours after the board dried, I was able to easily scratch the paint off with my nail... Sooooo up to you? 6.Because the face of the board isn’t flat, make sure you angle the nozzle of the spray paint so you get every nook and cranny of the board. 7.The way I painted my board was taking apart a clothes hanger and having it held up while I sprayed it. This was convenient. It really helped when it came time to leave it to dry. 8.Leave the paint to dry for 24 hours before putting the trucks back on and skating on it. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FOLLOW ME: Facebook:   / unaluphotography   Instagram:   / ___ulu   Twitter:   / _ulu96   --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 08/25/15 Customizing and Painting the Penny Board
