Busing to RIOBAMBA and exploring! | Ecuador

We continued our journey down south of Quilotoa to Riobamba. There, we walked around and ate food. So pretty much a normal day for us. In order to get from Quilotoa to Riobamba, we walked out of the little town of Quilotoa and looked up the main road to see a bus waiting to leave. Our hotel owner had told us the bus would not be there until 9 and we would have to take a taxi to Latacunga. We decided to show up for the scheduled bus at 8:45 am anyway and we are very glad we did. We think our hotel owner might have had a friend or two who was a taxi driver and thus was trying to tell us the bus was unreliable and tried to make us late - but anyway, we made it to Latacunga and then from there, quickly hoped on a bus to Riobamba. We missed the 'terminal' (the side of the road) that we were supposed to get off at but quickly got a taxi. Riobamba was nice to walk around! We were warned on the safety of it; however, we did not have any problems behind the obvious staring from people.
