Fallout: New Vegas Dead Money: A Review

Sorry about the poor video quality at points, I was having trouble trying to render the video with original media and was forced to use the proxy version. If I were going for an any% speedrun of this video, I would say, "Dead Money is a cautionary tale about the dangers of simping." Instead, I want to bask in Dead Money and embrace every part. Good, bad, explodey. All of it. One of my favorite examples of New Vegas' brilliance is its first expansion: Dead Money. Released late 2010, just two months after the base game, it's easily the most polarizing add-on brought to the series, but it's worthy of a deep dive and serves as a perfect illustration for how the Fallout world is such a rich and fertile soil for which the fruits of engrossing, beautiful storytelling may be borne. With this video, I want to dive in and provide a definitive breakdown of its story, world, characters, gameplay, and everything else, and come out the other end with a complete understanding so we can truly appreciate it: warts and all. Failing that, at least you'll know why you hate it. If you haven't already and you enjoy this content, consider subscribing and leaving a like. If you don't, I'll make sure that you are forced to speak to the attendant every time you go to pump gas. Sorry, I have a channel to shill. Plus, it goes a long way in helping get this out to more people who may enjoy it, too. Also, consider checking out my videos going through each of the Fallout 3 add-ons.
