3 things I learned while taking my finals in Honorlock

This video was developed in a collaboration with Spanish Professor Alisa June Turner at NWCC. Gracias, profesora! #1 Pull up and play a YouTube video on your computer before attempting your Honorlock test. If it loads and plays rapidly, your pc computer is not lagging too much and may be a good indicator of your computer's ability to run the installed Honorlock extension through Canvas in an examination successfully. If you expect "listen and respond" questions (like on my Spanish test) make sure your volume is audible so that you will not have adjustments to make during the test. Adjusting the volume during an Honorlock test could be distracting to you and appear suspicious to your teacher. If I am doing anything that I think a teacher might perceive as suspicious, I verbalize what I am doing (such as adjusting the volume) so that my action will be perceived in the best possible light. #2 If you cannot see all the answers to a massive matching question, take your screen out of maximize (click Restore down to resize the page) and make it smaller (the little square at the top right). This change helped me see all the choices in my matching questions with 10 answers. #3 I noticed that my test auto submitted when I was finished, and I did not click the Submit button myself. I checked my grades in Canvas and the grade was properly recorded. by Darrell Barnes
