Suafa'i - Samoan Banana Sago Dessert or Breakfast

In this video we teach you how to make the Samoan dish suafa'i which is a banana, sago and coconut cream dish that can be eaten as dessert or breakfast. Ingredients we used in our recipe: Approx 10 large very ripe bananas 1 cup raw sugar (plus 1-2 extra tablespoons depending on how sweet you like it) 1 cup of sago (or 1 and a half depending on how thick you like your suafa'i) Enough water to cover the bananas 1 400ml can of thick coconut cream We cooked our suafa'i in a saucepan that had a 5 litre capacity.
