Warhammer Vermintide 2 Diorama Building : Skaven Terrain - Medieval City Sewers Age of Sigmar Warcry

"There's something going on in the medieval city sewers. Sewage systems are a crucial element to evacuate the city's filth and keep it clean, to avoid the spread of infections, disease and vermin. This particular sewage system is showing signs of weakness, though the cause hasn't been determined yet." Skaven deserve a proper medieval city sewers diorama. So I made this Warhammer Vermintide 2 Diorama Building video. This warhammer scenery is one I was very excited to do as it's an emblematic piece of Warhammer Vermintide 2 Diorama for any warhammer and specially Skaven lover. I’m using Skaven models by Games Workshop from the early edition of Warhammer Underworlds Shadespire for this sewers diorama, but it could have been the latest Warhammer Underworlds edition Nethermaze or Warcry. Or really any Age of Sigmar Skaven models from Games Workshop, or even any rat model. It’s just a sewers diorama that you can fill with anything you want, though this sewage system is specifically designed with Skaven in mind. The adventurers are also miniatures from Games Workshop, Empire and Dwarves, renamed Freeguild then Cities of Sigmar for Age of Sigmar. Skaven thrive closer to humans, where they can parasite facilities and scavenge for material and supply, as we can see in, thus a Warhammer Vermintide 2 Diorama feels very appropriate. I love the idea that they are just below the very ground of the medieval city, as it makes them more of a nuisance and more dangerous. Hence I made this warhammer scenery for the beloved Skaven. This sewers diorama is a perfect display for Skaven, whether for the Warhammer Underworlds Nethermaze warband, Age of Sigmar Skaven or Warcry. I hope you'll enjoy this warhammer terrain ! And best of all, it is relatively cheap to make. Well, cheap in material, but not that cheap in time spent. The whole process is very smooth en enjoyable though. I went through many "firsts" doing this warhammer terrain. Not only it's always exciting to try new stuff but hopefully I'll become better at making warhammer scenery, to always achieve more epicness. Although this is a medieval terrain, it could easily be used for Necromunda terrain or as a Sci-Fi terrain / frostgrave terrain / mordheim terrain / Warcry terrain / dnd terrain. Medieval terrain often displays stone walls, and that wouldn't be surprising to find it in a Necromunda terrain or a Sci-Fi terrain / frostgrave terrain / mordheim terrain / dnd terrain. To transform this Medieval terrain into a Necromunda terrain or a Sci-Fi terrain / frostgrave terrain / mordheim terrain / dnd terrain, I'd simply swap the models. How about Aliens blasting their ways through endless hordes of zombies in the very sewage system ? This is the perfect scenery to welcome the Skaventide box for the 4th edition of Age of Sigmar. Skaventide features the Stormcast Eternals vs the Skaven in an epic battle. What would be more epic than a battle in the sewers ?
