March 2023 Great Loop Update -- WE MADE IT TO THE KEYS!!!

Ahoy! Welcome to our March 2023 Great Loop update from Marathon FL. Follow us on instagram @TheBoomershines   / theboomershines   or TikTok @MVSeaSHINE Just to clarify, make your marina reservations for the Keys a year in advance or as soon as you know you want to spend time in the Keys. Just about every other marina reservation can be made as you do your loop. I typically make reservations one or two stops ahead at most. Since our last update, we successfully made it from Boca Grande, Fl to the Florida Keys in SeaSHINE, our 56-foot Ocean Alexander motor yacht. We have done over 5,000 miles of the loop and are still going. We have a few hundred miles left till we cross our wake but we plan to take a side trip to the Bahamas first.
