Chapter 1 starts at 6:32 The book of Philippians is extremely relevant in today's climate and the challenges facing believers. What we as believers stand for is truly being tested and more importantly how far we are willing to go to proactively stand for holiness and righteousness despite the consequences that may have is something that we should begin to consider if you have not already. Paul teaches us that suffering with Christ is part of our Christian walk and that true joy comes from Jesus no matter the circumstances you may find yourself in even in the transformation process to become like Christ which can often be painful. Whist in Prison, Paul wrote letters to the church in Philipi encouraging them in their faith, thanked them for financial and spiritual support and shared testimonies of how his imprisonment for sharing the gospel had helped to spread the kingdom message even farther. We must all me peace with the reality that we are to partake in the sufferings of Jesus and count it all joy! What stood out for you the most?....... It will be different every time you listen. I love The Passion Translation and had a wonderful time in God's presence whilst recording this, it was soo hard not to burst into praise while recording this! I love The Passion Translation because it beautifully paints a picture of Gods plan using poetic and emotive words, I just know you'll love it too.
