1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 525hp LS3 2-Door Hardtop Build Project

1956 Chevrolet Bel Air 525hp LS3 2-Door Hardtop Build Project Steve's 56 Chevy Bel-Air 2 door hardtop came in needing extensive rust repair. Eckert's Rod and Custom replaced the roof and structure, the inner and outer rockers, the inner and outer wheel tubs, both quarter panels, tail light patch panels, trunk, hood, and the front valence. While the car was apart Eckert's Rod and Custom added a pair of mini-tubs. Eckert's Rod and Custom then continued to replace the front of the factory frame with custom rails, a Heidts front suspension, a Ride-tech rear 4 link and a Ford 9 inch rear end with Wilwood brakes on all 4 corners. Eckert's Rod and Custom added a brace to the frame to stiffen up the ride. Eckert's Rod and Custom trimmed the car with Dakota Digital gauges, vintage air, and a custom interior keeping to period styling. Engine: GM LS3 connect and cruise, 525HP Trans: Tremec TKX 5-speed manual Suspension: QA1 coilovers Exhaust: Custom one-off 2.5 inch with valves Brakes: Wilwood 6-piston front and 4 piston rear Wheels: American Racing Torque Thrust Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 Paint: GM Lime Rock Green and Custom Pearl White Project Built By: Eckert's Rod and Custom 28959 South Cramer Road Molalla, Oregon 97038 Email- [email protected] Phone- 503.263.2893 www.eckertsrodandcustom.com   / eckerts-rod-and-custom-308893779221176   ----------------------------------------------------- This video purpose is to tell world about amazing car build project and to inspire ever growing car builder community around the world.
