I've been living in the woods for more than half a year and it is about time that my people got an idea of what my life looks like out here. I'm surviving nicely, building useful, silly, necessary and unnecessary things using only a chainsaw and a few hand tools that I've dragged out to the property in Michigan. There is still no water or power- it's totally off grid- and there is no way to get a car into camp. Everything that comes in is loaded on a 4 wheeler and driven in. While many people have seen some of the individual building projects, mostly using chainsaw-milled lumber, many have said that they still had no idea what the place looks like. Here you go! You will see the shelter/lean-to, wood fired hot tub, water tower, tent platforms, shooting range and even the start of some projects that are in the works.
