I actually think Himalaya is a better, more harmonious composition, capturing the elements of cold air, water, and earthiness of the Tibetian landscape PERFECTLY. Sandalwood is a key note, but the heart also contains spices and pepper giving the fragrance a more uplifting, aromatic feel. It is further sweetened and brightened by tonka bean and citruses. It reminds me more of Green Irish Tweed than Silver Mountain Water. I think SMW belongs in a total different genre, namely fruity GREEN aquatic scents. It is also more feminine smelling than Himalaya. Himalaya is perfect as a year-round signature scent. Refreshing, sweet creamy woods.
