His pieces are body skimming, hip hugging, and very, very open, when there isn't a jacket draped over them like the one worn by Anja Rubik as she opened Vaccarello's Spring/Summer 2013 collection. Vaccarello had an interesting idea for his collection shown at Paris Fashion Week. He said he wanted the clothes to look as if the model had dipped into the ocean, wearing his pieces, then walked out. Draped dresses (or should we say pieces of fabrics) clung to the body. Others were boxy up top but revealing at the bottom. The sexy look seems to work for this designer, and he's slowly cashing in on it, for day and for night.
