Brake issues on track - BMW E46 328i - Zandvoort RSZ Trackday

First session of the day, the car was exactly the same as the previous trackday - except for a new windshield. I wanted to get a few solid laps in on this first session, and try suspension adjustments on the next sessions. Sadly, we ran into brake issues - the rear brake pads wore prematurely (they were at about 50% before the session), and you can see when they "end" at 9:14. At the time I thought it was brake fade (and maybe the fronts were fading as we had less brake force at the rear), so I took it easy for a while, then continued running in a safe manner to the best of my judgement. Current theory is the pins started to stick after getting hot, which kept the rear brakes dragging, increasing the pad temperature and melting it away on the braking zones - will have to check the car this weekend to fully understand what went wrong. Still had fun though :) This was session 3 on 09/05/2024, which started at 17:40. Due to the car issues, it was the only session I ran on this day. ps.: changed the camera angle, but still not happy.
