I wanted to rewind to the very foundations of what it means to use a step sequencer in the hopes that I can teach some folks who may be interesting in exploring the Digitakt or other similar hardware grooveboxes/samplers/etc. In the video, I construct a beat using all stock samples from the Digitakt, explain how to parameter lock, explore the different parameter pages, and add a bit of melody. It turns into a sort of minimal house/dub type of jam. I hope this will be useful for beginners or folks looking to learn more about the Elektron workflow, but I also included some tips for more advanced users!
