LIRR C420s and an SW1001 at Fresh Pond, NY 2-11-85

Engines 228 and 223, LIRR class L2. They come in from the West with a cut of cars and yard them. They run around the train light and head back West. A short time later they pass Eastbound on the Montauk Main Line with another cut of cars picked up in the West Yard. Then SW1001 106 shows up to do a little work of her own. She pushes a cut of cars up the East leg of the wye to the interchange and returns light. What she lacks in size and appearance she makes up for in sound. This was only my third time out ever with a video camera, and a borrowed one at that. The tripod was not even a video tripod, but an old still camera tripod, so it's not my smoothest work. Still the subject was worthwhile, so I decided to upload it. Hope you like it. VHS Master Recording
