Redeye was a band that played on the Adelaide music scene in the late 70s. This was the first single from the band. This clip got a bit of notoriety and received national press. The clip was banned on one of Adelaide TV's music shows at the time. However, it was played on every other states music shows. The last laugh was with the band as all the interstate shows were shown in Adelaide anyway. The first we heard about it was coming back after doing gigs in Sydney and filling up with petrol on the Hay Plain. The attendant said he read about us in the paper. That great literary tabloid 'The Truth' and it read 'Redeye clip blacked because of homosexual connotations'!
