Some of you have purchased flip over/fold over weft u part wigs believing you were purchasing our Thin-Part Wig. We hope this video provides clarity. ⚠️Tips to detect deceptive products/marketing tactics related to Thin-Part Wigs: 🚩Their videos/photos do not provide clear closeup views of the roots of the wig when installed. For example, they only show you mannequin closeups or the videos are dark/extra blurry w/excessive filters. Notice we provide you with well lit zoomed in views on real people. 🚩When asked what makes theirs different than other types of u-part wigs, they make vague statements such as “it’s different and unique” rather than specific details. For example, we state that unlike a u-part wig the top of our wig mimics real hair roots, the opening is slimmer…. lays flat…there is no weft etc. We also back it up with closeup videos. 🚩Beware of potentially misleading language related to patents such as …”our wig is unique…it has to be different in order to even file for a patent or receive ‘patent pending’ status.” This is false. For example, you can submit a picture and description of a normal cup to the patent office and they will immediately give you “patent pending” status w/o reviewing your application. It can take them years before they review it. During that wait time you can claim that you invented a new “patent pending” item called a cup. Of course when the patent office finally reviews your application it will get denied because you are unable to patent something already on the market or that is not ‘novel’. However, some companies may take advantage of the wait time (and other options) & use this deceptive tactic in order to use “patent pending” in their advertising. Their goal may be to reel you in and make you believe you are buying something new and unique, when it is neither. 🚩If they do not tag the person shown in the video (although it could also be a company model). However many times it’s because they have stolen another companies content. These are just a few ways to spot deceptive tactics used to confuse or gaslight you into believing you are purchasing a wig with the capabilities of our Patented Thin-Part Wig. History of fold over weft u-part wigs: •Fold over weft u-part wigs began showing up in 2019 on Amazon and Aliexpress as a knock off version of our Thin-Part Wig. As you can see they can not be worn with a thin leave out. It is also impossible for them to be worn with no leave-out. ⚠️Below are a list of companies fraudulently claiming to sell “Thin-Part Wigs”. However, they are not misrepresenting themselves specifically as “Thin Part Wigs” or using our content. You should still be cautious of these wigs if they make claims to have the capabilities of being worn with no leave-out or a thin leave-out.
