St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco) = The main square of Venice Campanille = Bell tower Adriatic Sea = The sea on the northeast side of Italy "The metro at big brother's house..." = Rome's Line A took over 20 years to finish and Line B was delayed for 8 years because of WWII (that's probably the "construction work delayed for years") "Lately suitcases are banned..." = In Venice, they wanted to ban wheeled suitcases "to stop noise pollution" but they didn't after all. "But when it comes to food, I promised Japan..." = Veneziano is probably referring to the fact that Spaghetti Bolognese is a Japanese recipe. "Canned beef" = reference to World Twinkle Episode 2 "That terrible era" = another reference to World Twinkle Episode 2. :D Bacari = wine bars in Venice Gondola = traditional Venetian rowing boat Gondolier = a person that drives gondola O sole mio (Oh my sun/My sunshine) = popular Italian (Neapolitan) song I own nothing.
