The best time to visit Avatar Mountains is in the spring and autumn months when the weather is mild and the scenery is at its most vibrant. The park is easily accessible by bus or cable car from the nearby town of Zhangjiajie, making it a convenient destination for travelers exploring the region. ************* We stayed inside the Zhangjiajie National Park. The local government there is encouraging farmers to move out to the city. But many farmers still prefer the peaceful farm life inside the park. Many farmers have renovated and opened up their homes for Farmstays. Bookings can be made through Trip.com.
