U.S. Air Force Security Forces members conduct re-supply air drop and sling load of a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) at Fort Bliss Camp Oro Grande Complex in Otero, New Mexico as part of Defender Flag 2023 (DF23). The event, hosted by the U.S. Air Force Security Forces Center, is a realistic assessment and validation of base ground defense tactics, techniques and procedures during intense, realistic scenarios. Ten teams representing each major command took part with the helicopters provided by the U.S. Army.
