In January 2013, gunmen affiliated to al-Qaeda took more than 800 people hostage at a gas facility near In Amenas, Algeria, resulting in the deaths of 39 foreign workers. Filmmaker Jonathan Murray's father David survived In Amenas but the tragedy affected him greatly. This personal film explores the impact on David, and how his close relationship with Jonathan changed following the shocking event. Following this film, Jonathan spoke on BBC Radio 5 Live and BBC Radio Manchester about the incident.
