Starting with a train from Milan Centrale to Varenna🚆, we arrive in the picturesque lakeside village of Varenna-Esino. From there, we hop on a ferry to Bellagio ⛴️, known as the “Pearl of Lake Como” for its elegant villas, lush gardens, and cobbled streets. While in Bellagio, we explore town with its beautiful botanical gardens 🌸, walk along the lakeside promenade, and discover shops and cafes tucked into the village’s charming alleys. Next, we ferry over to Menaggio 🍃, another delightful town famous for its picturesque waterfront and relaxed atmosphere. Known as a quieter counterpart to Bellagio, Menaggio offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains and lake, along with scenic walking paths and waterfront cafes where you can unwind and take in the peaceful surroundings. Finally, we head back to Varenna-Esino and catch the train back to Milan Centrale 🚉, completing a perfect day on the lake.
