In September 2018, Melbourne mum Helen MacGregor's life was turned upside down when she was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. In the years since her diagnosis before her passing in March 2021, Helen became a strong advocate for other patients and was passionate about raising the profile of pancreatic cancer in the hope to accelerate research for the disease. Even in the face of adversity, Helen remained steadfast in her commitment to ensuring others with cancer never felt alone. In recognition of Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, she shares her story with Pancare Foundation in the hope to put the spotlight on the disease.
