It's May 19 and bluebird summertime, but we're headed to the mountains to go backcountry riding with the pros at Sled Fest in Cooke City, Montana! This is a spring ride that needs to go on your snowmobiling Bucket List. We found some awesome snow just a few miles from town, built some killer jumps and strapped a GoPro to the pros' helmets so you could go riding along with Jaden Ballard, Scott Eyer, Justin Kringbaum, Hayden Throop, and Thomas Ewert! Sled Fest is an annual event that brings snowmobilers and snow-bikers from all over together to raise money for the (GNFAC) Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center. We had a blast, but our fun was cut short when Scott took a bad fall and broke his leg and ankle. We got him splinted up and out of the backcountry for medical attention.
