Making your own Christmas cake can be very satisfying and I like to tailor mine to what my family likes best, but I know it can see daunting with so many recipe needing to made months in advance. Whilst you can make this cake months in advance and you can if you wish feed it, I never do, I tend to make my Christmas Cake fairly late sometimes, well into December and I have nothing but compliments about my cake.
