All of a sudden, that’s not a rhetorical question,” Mr Macpherson said. “Some saw it as a wonderful admission that we’re all right in our own way. Others saw it as a humble confession that none of us can claim to be right. “Most, and I suspect the Pontiff himself, saw it as a way of being inclusive. “Our culture, having given up on truth, is trying to include people around inclusion.”
