AIMIM leader Akbaruddin Owaisi is popular for his controversial speeches. Recently, while addressing a public gathering in Lalitha Bagh, Hyderabad, campaigning for Telangana Polls, Akbaruddin Owaisi threatened a police inspector to leave after the former was asked to conclude his speech on time as per the Model Code of Conduct. Later, he went on to say "No one is yet born to stop him”. On the controversial Akbaruddin Owaisi’s speech, AIMIM Chief Asaddudin Owaisi backed his brother Akbaruddin Owaisi. Asaduddin Owaisi demanded the Election Commission (EC) to initiate an inquiry as to why his brother was asked to stop speaking at the rally. Akbaruddin Owaisi is a candidate from the Chandrayangutta constituency.
