Repairing An AIXUN T3A soldering station

My AIXUN T3A soldering station died after only about 4 or 5 months of use. Let's take it apart, try and diagnose the problem and hopefully repair it! UPDATE: I managed to find some schematics that someone reverse engineered: https://github.com/c0d3z3r0/aixun_t3a... I eventually replaced the diode on my unit as I think it was breaking down or had a bad internal connection. It seems the heat from the iron just temporarily restored it for a couple of weeks, as the fault re-occurred a few weeks later. Heating the diode seemed to make it work again.
