Maxson Goh Films an overview of the first day of the new Bee Network bus franchising model which sees buses in Greater Manchester under public control for the first time since deregulation in 1986. This is also the revenue service debut of several 73 plated BYD D8UR-DD ADL Enviro400EV fully electric buses. Other secondhand buses can also be seen refurbished into the Bee Network specification, or simply pasted with Bee Network sticers for the time being. A new unified yellow colour scheme was chosen and will be gradually applied to all buses in Greater Manchester. This system is similar to the ones in London and Singapore, a country in South East Asia. The buses in the video are operated by Go North West (yes even the Diamond Enviro 200 on the 10), and the vintage bus is a 1951 Crossley DD42/7 (Stockport Corporation 321 EDB575), part of the collection at the Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester.
