Soak the chickpeas for a minimum of 8 hours/overnight in water. 2. In another bowl, soak raw rice too in water overnight. 3. Transfer the soaked chickpeas and rice to a mixer jar. 4. Add ginger, green chillies to it. 5. Add the required amount of water and grind them all into a fine and smooth batter. 6. Transfer the batter into a bowl and let it ferment for 8 hours. 7. After the fermentation is done, add some salt to the batter. 8. Heat a pan and pour a ladle of batter on it. Spread it evenly into a dosa. 9. Apply some oil on the edges. 10. Roast the dosa on both sides. 11. Remove it from the pan and serve it hot with any chutney of your choice.
