With this newly re-lit passion, Matthew experimented with modern 2024 technology to separate the vocals from the original demo, and then created a fresh mix and master for the song. The goal was to keep the raw emotion of Ghen's beautiful French language vocal performance, while honoring the clarity and beauty of the peaceful piano and guitar instrumentation. The vocals are mixed purposefully hauntingly for an alternative indie pop vibe.
