Or not being sensitive to specific notes or smells or fragrances?Please let me know, add a comment below so that I can find out. What Is Anosmia? Anosmia is the complete loss of the sense of smell? Or Anosmia is the partial loss of the sense of smell? If you are spraying much more than when you first started wearing a fragrance then you are probably becoming anosmic to your fragrance. Or you are experiencing Olfactory Fatigue with your fragrance. Being sick losing sense of smell so you become Anosmic. There's Permanent Anosmia vs Temporary Anosmia. Olfactory Fatigue or Noseblindness? What are these? Overly Sensitive To Certain Smells People not used to wearing perfumes tend to be very sensitive to perfumes Notes I was Anosmic to - ISO E Super in Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 and Javanol in Escentric Molecules Molecule 04. But I am no longer Anosmic to these notes. One note I'm very sensitive to is Calone. And I react very negatively to Calone. -What Is Calone? Also known as Watermelon Ketone. It is used to give the olfactory impression of a fresh seashore through the marine and ozone nuances. It’s been used since the 1980s for it’s watery, fresh, ozone accords, and as a more dominant note in many perfumes in the aquatic and marine style beginning in the 1990s. It reminds me of seawater or water with fish. Too much and it's too much for my nose to tolerate.
